Contact Lubrication

Contact Lubricants are specially formulated greases and oils that reduce friction and enhance the electrical performance of current carrying metal interfaces in switches and connectors. Electrolube products are electrically insulative in thick films, preventing tracking in ultra thin films, i.e. between closed metal contacts they allow the current to flow, owing to the 'Quantum Tunnelling Effect'. They also exhibit a neutral PH thereby avoiding surface corrosion.

Electrolube have been the leading supplier of contact lubricants since their invention by the founder in the 1950s. They increase the reliability and lifetime of current carrying metal interfaces, including switches, connectors and busbars.

Thermal Bonding System - Syringe, 20ML

Thermal Bonding Compound is a two part epoxy bonding system which utilises metal oxides to provide excellent thermal conductivity whilst being electrically insulating. It is especially useful in the manufacture of heatsink assemblies where ‘piggy back’ arrangements are applied and where the manufacture design of heat sinks does not allow for welding or brazing techniques to be employed due to complexity or geometry of the fins.
TBS is also ideal for use as a bonding medium in surface mounting assemblies.

It is suitable for use on mechanical assemblies in regular use for lubricating sprocket wheels, ball races, gears and axles, for example. It may also be used for cleaning and lubricating gold contacts on edge connectors and for cleaning and protecting relays, particularly from silicone contamination. After evaporation of solvent, ULL is non flammable and can be used over an extremely wide operating temperature range.
