For electronic solders only the purest kinds of tin and lead as well as copper and silver from exactly defined countries of origin are used. This preselection of extremly pure alloy elements guarantees, besides of the extensive alloy process, an always constant quality with a low tendency to dross generation.

Lead-free solderings in wave and selective solder machines. Also usable in older wave soldering machines which crucible and nozzles were still manufactued of V2A and do not provide innert gas. The experience of our customers shows that in most cases innert gas is not necessary.

Also the tinning of varnished copper wires in dip and selective soldering machines at temperatures up to 450°C (e.g . for spool manufacturing or in transformer construction). Besides of the known advantages of the Ni-endowed solders, by adding germanium our alloys achieve improved wetting properties on all common surfaces in the electronics manufacturing and minimal dross formation compared to all other lead-free solders.

ISO-Tin® "Sn100Ni+" has a wide solder temperature range and can be applied in wave soldering starting at 265°C as well as the dip-soldering process up to 450°C. However, a higher Ge-consumption and a increased Cu-reduction come along with a higher solder temperature.

Soldering rods SN97Ni3 Lead free
702108

Alloy: Sn97Ni3      Lead free: Yes

Rolled wire cuttings 10 mm x 150 mm, packed in 5 kg boxes.

Nickel act at the soldering process as a diffusion barrier and is concentrated at the surface of the molten alloy and at the intermetallic zone of the solder joint. Thereby a long-term decrease at the solder bath is expected.

FELDER Nickel concentrate Sn97Ni3 adjusts the Ni-content to the necessary value in wave soldering-, selective soldering- and HASL- machines.

FELDER Nickel concentrate Sn97Ni3 is also used for the changeover of lead-free standard solder to FELDER NiGe-Electronic solder.

Soldering tin SN99Ge1

Alloy: SN99Ge1      Lead free: Yes

100gr rods

Rolled wire cuttings 10 mm x 150 mm, packed in 5 kg boxes.

FELDER Desoxidation Concentrate Sn99Ge1 regulates the Ge-value to the necessary value by adding in wave soldering-, selective soldering- and HASL-machines.

FELDER Desoxidation Concentrate Sn99Ge1 is also used for the changeover of lead-free standard solder to FELDER NiGe-electronic solder alloys.

Germanium decreases during soldering process by oxidation.

Ge consumption is heavily dependent on the soldering technology used. Soldering temperature, the additional use of shielding gases or covering oils and of course the throughput of a system are factors that influence this need.
